At 77 years of age, I have used many varieties of soap. A few years ago when my wife told me I was starting to get that "Old People Smell", I researched soaps to preclude the "Old People Smell" and did find a liquid variety from Japan that did a good job of doing so, but like others, it left a oily feeling on the skin. And I do not like using liquid soap because too much goes to waste with excess spilling onto the shower floor. But our daughter brought me a bar of Four Peaks soap and I gave it a try. So that you are aware, I always use a slower glove which does a better job in cleaning and removing dead skin from my body. With that glove and a bar of Four Peaks Soap, after one shower my skin has NEVER felt so clean and with no after oily feeling left on my skin. So when I apply a high end skin cream on my skin that I know is fully absorbed and immediately goes to work conditioning the second layer of skin that is very important to decreasing bruising which happens with more frequency on older people and when it does occur, the bruise goes away much quicker. The cream is DERMAMEND for fragile skin. But to get the most benefit from this skin cream or any after shower skin cream, I HIGHLY recommend that you use FOUR PEAKS bar soap, and with rough show glove of some type.
