Four Peaks Soap Co. Partners with Project Purple
Share
At Four Peaks Soap Co., we are proud to partner with Project Purple in the fight against pancreatic cancer. As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of giving back to the community. Our mission to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer patient care and research is a deeply personal one, as we honor the memory of Mark’s late mother, Barbara, who passed away from the disease in December 2024.
In partnership with Project Purple, we’ve created a special collaboration box as part of our Lather Up With Purpose Campaign. This box includes a mini soap sampler, a soap saver bag, branded stickers, a Project Purple bracelet, and more. For every box sold, we’ll donate $5 to Project Purple.
A Mother, Grandmother, and Friend Who Gave Unconditionally
Barbara’s love and devotion to her family were unmatched. As a mother, she tirelessly supported her three sons, helping them navigate life’s challenges and ensuring they held fast to their values. “She helped me understand what’s important in life. She taught me a lot about establishing relationships and keeping them,” Mark reflects. Her love only multiplied as a grandmother. Barbara took every opportunity to make each of her ten grandchildren feel special.
Even as the cancer progressed, Barbara remained steadfast in her love and presence. “She was persistent with her relationships,” says Mark. “She took the initiative to reach out and keep up with everyone.” Her positive attitude and fierce love for others continue to inspire us, and it’s her spirit that fuels our efforts in making a meaningful difference through Four Peaks Soap Co.
Finding Joy in Soap-Making
During her treatment, Barbara found solace in Mark’s soap-making. “It’s very stiff in a hospital room. It’s not fun. It’s dry, it’s white lights, it’s very boring. I can only imagine what happens to your mindset, having to just sit in the hospital bed,” says Mark. Talking about something unrelated to her illness, like soap-making, was a welcome distraction from her treatment.
Barbara was an enthusiastic supporter of Four Peaks, offering her feedback on new scents. Her support was unwavering, even while facing her own battles.
Making an Impact
Now, we continue Barbara’s legacy through our partnership with Project Purple. Our Lather Up With Purpose campaign is a way for us to channel our grief into something that can make a tangible difference. As Mark puts it, “We want to put our energy towards an important cause and take positive steps forward after something so devastating.”
We invite you to join us in this important mission by purchasing a collaboration box. Together, we can make a difference and continue to raise awareness and funds to combat this disease.
